When we returned from our trip for Fall Break the leaves were well on the way to changing colors here in Oldham County. Halloween preparations were made for the different parties the kids wanted to attend and what costumes they wanted to wear. Melissa and the kids decorated some pumpkins while I caught up on work from having been out for a week. Halloween went very smoothly this year. I held down the fort and handed out candy to the trick-or-treaters on Halloween night while Melissa took the kids out to make the rounds in our neighborhood as well as the areas where some of their school and sports friends live.
